Informing your clients about Mentaya:

Option 1:

I don't accept insurance, but I work with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. To see if you qualify for reimbursement, you can use this link:

If you qualify, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. They charge a 5% fee per claim and have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year. You can sign up using this link:

Note: Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation.

Option 2:

We've partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits.

Mentaya is perfect if you:

• Have out of network benefits

• Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance

• Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement

• Simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork!

Here's how it works:

2. Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.

3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.

4. You get reimbursed by insurance!

Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.

It's risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.

Informing your clients on the bulk submit superbill feature:

You can use Mentaya to upload past superbills from this year in bulk, and they will submit claims for all of the sessions on your aggregated superbills. This can help you meet your out-of-network deductible this year and get reimbursed for therapy.

To get started, you can log into your client portal and click “Past Superbills” on the sidebar.

Adding Mentaya to informed consent forms:

At [Your Practice Name], we've partnered with Mentaya to simplify insurance reimbursement for our clients. Here's what you need to know:

  2. Reimbursement Process: If eligible, Mentaya will manage your claims for a 5% fee per claim.

  3. Optional Participation: Using Mentaya for reimbursement is entirely optional, and it won't affect your therapy service quality or availability.

  4. Therapist Neutrality: I, as your therapist, do not benefit from your choice to use Mentaya. My goal is to support your well-being.
