Refunds for Claim Submissions

Mentaya offers refunds to some customers, and considers each case individually.

Our promise:

You are eligible for a full refund of our fees on a per-claim basis if the submission to insurance is not successfully submitted within six months after filing through Mentaya.

A submission is successful if the claim has been approved by the insurance company, and either a payment has been sent or the claim has been applied to the deductible.

Please note that if you have been informed that you are not eligible for reimbursement before you submit the claim in question (for instance, due to a lack of out-of-network benefits or the absence of a single case agreement), the refund policy does not apply.

Why the 6-month window?

While we expect that the majority of claims will be processed in shorter periods of time, in rare cases, processing can sometimes take up to 6 months.
